US Weekly is reporting that an investigation is underway in the tragic jet ski accident that left Tameka Raymond’s son Kile brain dead.

An investigation is now underway into Friday’s tragic jet ski accident that left Usher’s stepson brain dead.

According to ABC News, Jeffrey S. Hubbard, 38, was operating the jet ski when it collided with Kile Glover, 11, the son of Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster. Hubbard is a family friend of Usher and Foster.

“The accident is under investigation, and Hubbard is [under investigation] as the operator of the personal watercraft,” Sgt. Mike Burgamy with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources said.

Glover was riding an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Atlantic, GA on Friday with an unidentified 15-year-old girl. Both children were airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston after the accident. Glover was hit in the head and registered no brain activity since he was admitted. The second victim reportedly suffered a broken arm and cut on her head.

Burgamy explained, “A pontoon was pulling the two adolescents on an inner tube, and the personal water craft went over the top of them.”

Usher (real name: Usher Terry Raymond IV), 33, and Foster divorced after two years of marriage in 2009. The couple share sons Usher Raymond V, 4, and Naviyd, 3, in addition to Kyle, Foster’s son from a previous relationship.

Despite being engaged in a heated custody battle before the accident, Usher and Foster have put it aside to support each other. “Tameka and Usher don’t get along, but in this circumstance Usher is coming to her side,” a source told Us Weekly. “Usher practically raised Kyle as his own. He’s known him for seven years. It is so sad what happened.” 

Another source told Us, “He loved Kile. This is a terrible, awful tragedy. Usher is torn up.”

Reality star & son of the legendary Ozzy Osbourne reveals he’s been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

The 26-year-old discovered he had the autoimmune disease after he lost 60% of the vision in his right eye earlier this year. Multiple sclerosis affects the nervous system by damaging the protective sheath that surrounds the nerve fibers of the brain and spinal cord. It’s often diagnosed during young adulthood and can lead to speech difficulties, loss of coordination, blindness and chronic pain. Yet not all cases of MS are the same: while some sufferers experience rapid and debilitating deterioration, others spend years with only the mildest of symptoms.

“While I was waiting for the final results, I got really, really angry,” Jack told the tabloid magazine Hello! in an interview. “Then I got really sad for about two days, and after that I realized, being angry and upset is not going to do anything at this point – if anything it’s only going to make it worse. ‘Adapt and overcome’ is my new motto.”

There is also no known cure, though Osbourne has said he plans to treat the disease with a combination of daily medications and holistic treatments.

The “Paranoid” rapper, 35, is keen on marrying the twice-wed reality star, a West pal recently told Us Weekly. “They’re seriously talking marriage. And yes, she would [accept his proposal].”

But tying the knot isn’t the only thing on the 18-time Grammy Award winner’s mind. “Kanye says he can’t wait to see her carrying his child,” a source revealed. “He says she will look beautiful pregnant.”

Though Kardashian has yet to finalize her divorce from basketball player Kris Humphries, 27, she’s clearly smitten with West. “They are the real deal,” a confidante said. “I’ve never seen her like this.”

Friends for years, West patiently pursued Kardashian through her makeups and breakups until they began dating earlier this spring. “He waited for Kim,” the West pal told Us. “He knows they’re meant to be.”

If her gift-giving is any indication, Kardashian certainly feels the same way. For her boyfriend’s birthday June 8, the 31-year-old purchased a $750,000 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4. Kardashian even surprised her man on his birthday with a one-day trip to Ireland, where he and Jay-Z were performing in concert for their world tour.

Carrie Underwood – Celebrity

Country megastar Carrie Underwood is the latest celebrity to publicly come out in support of gay marriage. She spoke to The Independent while promoting her latest album, Blown Away.

“As a married person myself, I don’t know what it’s like to be told I can’t marry somebody I love, and want to marry,” she said. “I can’t imagine how that must feel. I definitely think we should all have the right to love, and love publicly, the people that we want to love.”

The paper noted that Underwood, who has just released a new album Blown Away
 has a large Evangelical Christian fanbase and has spoken frequently about her faith, making it the subject of one of her biggest hits, “Jesus, Take The Wheel.”

She told the paper that her liberal attitude about same-sex marriage is actually a result of her Christian values, not in conflict with them.

“Our church is gay friendly,” said Underwood, 29, who was raised as Baptist, a denomination that tends to condemn homosexual behavior, but who now worships in a non-denominational congregation with hockey-player husband Mike Fisher. “Above all, God wanted us to love others. It’s not about setting rules, or [saying] ‘everyone has to be like me’. No. We’re all different. That’s what makes us special. We have to love each other and get on with each other. It’s not up to me to judge anybody.”

Underwood’s comments come in the midst of a presidential campaign in which gay marriage is likely to be a hot-button issue. President Barack Obama
 recently said that he personally supports same-sex unions while rival Republican Mitt Romney has spoken out against gay marriage.

Eight-time Grammy winner Lauryn Hill has been charged with failing to file income tax returns for several years with the Internal Revenue Service, the U.S. attorney’s office in New Jersey announced Thursday.

Hill earned more than $1.6 million during 2005, 2006 and 2007, the three years that she failed to file returns, federal prosecutors said. Hill’s primary source of income is royalties from the recording and film industries, prosecutors said. She also owns and operates four corporations: Creations Music Inc., Boogie Tours Inc., L.H. Productions 2001 Inc. and Studio 22 Inc., according to court papers.

Messages left Thursday for her California-based attorney, Nathan J. Hochman, and an email sent to her publicist weren’t immediately returned.

The 37-year-old Hill got her start with The Fugees and began her solo career in 1998 with the critically acclaimed album “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.”

The album, praised by critics for its incisive lyrics and synthesis of rap and soul, sold 8 million copies. Hill was pronounced the face of “The Hip-Hop Nation” by Time magazine.

She then largely disappeared from public view to raise her six children, five of whom she had with Rohan Marley, the son of famed reggae singer Bob Marley.

Hill lives in South Orange, a suburb just west of Newark, and attended Columbia High School in Maplewood.
She is scheduled to appear before a federal magistrate on June 29. She could face a maximum penalty of a year in prison and $100,000 fine on each charge. [source]
