Whether you regard Fidel Castro as a saint or as the devil, no-one can deny the fact that Fidel has changed the course of history in his own unique way. With a literacy rate of 98% and a health system that causes envy across the world, it’s hard for anyone new to the Cuban’s history to see fault, however the rabbit hole into Castro’s rule is a dark and deep one.
