John Mayer and Katy Perry are dating, right? So why is it we keep hearing certain things that suggest he’s still acting like a single guy?
For example, there’s a rumor floating around that John has been texting The Bachelorette’s Emily Maynard. A source tells Life & Style magazine that Emily gets “bored” in her N.C. hometown, and that she is keen on texting and flirting, and she and John have been doing just that.
“Emily is bored out of her mind…so she sits at home and flirts with guys via text. That’s what got her in trouble with her ex fiancé, Jef Holm,” referring to her alleged text exchanges with Matt Leinart, Oakland Raiders QB and former USC star.
But Emily isn’t the only one Hollywood is buzzing about when it comes to John Mayer, there’s a particular blind item floating around the web that has all fingers pointing at Mayer and The Food Network’s Giada de Laurentiis. DListed’s Michael K guessed this one as Gia and Mayer and I would have to agree 100%. We’ve heard tons of rumors about Gia and her infidelities over the past couple/few years (she’s a total ho), and John Mayer’s name always seems to come up.

The Third Party has a new TV project launching next year, and it would certainly leave a sour taste in the mouths of her fans if they knew that she has an insatiable appetite for men outside of her marriage… and that she is “the other woman” coming between these two celebrities!

I like Katy, I think she’s a doll, but sadly she’s made some seriously crappy decisions about men in her life. Hopefully she’ll dump douchey John (he’s sooo 2009 anyway) and move on to a real man, or better yet? Spend some time alone and enjoy life without commitment for a bit.
